Fundraising Dinner and Auction

With the home study process almost complete, we are gearing up for a fundraising blitz.  So far, with our savings and the funds that we've already raised, we're close to clearing the $18,000 mark.  Halfway there!  The next part of the process (networking and birthmother management) will equate to about $18,000.  That being said, it's time to fundraise people!

We are so excited about this event and just being able to get everyone together to share our journey!

Details are still being finalized, but if you know me, then you know that I love to eat, so you know that the first thing planned was most definitely the menu.  Here it is!  (subject to change...but hopefully not!)

Apps:
Philly Cheesesteak Bites (and/or eggrolls...still undecided)
Jalapeño Poppers
Variety of cheeses from different regions with all of the accessories
Veggie Tray

Main Dishes:
Chicken Verde Enchiladas
Jambalaya
Brisket with a variety of BBQ sauces
California Monster Salads

Dessert Shots (not really shots...just served in little glasses):
Key Lime Pie
Cheesecake
Shortcake
Pecan Pie

Drinks:
Sweet Tea
Lemonade "Bar" (add your own fruit to make a flavor)
Water
Coffee

More info about the items up for auction/raffle will be posted later!  If you have any questions or want more info about the event, feel free to email me at pagingbabyd@gmail.com

Prayers, Prayers, and more Prayers...keep 'em coming: for our potential birth family, for this fundraising event, and for the many families around the world that are currently going through or have been through this process already.
