Upcoming Fundraisers-

Shoe Drive with www.Funds2orgs.com

When: February 1st-April 30th
Where: your home, neighborhood, scout troop, class, Bible study group, club, sports team, etc.
Why: to help people start businesses and improve their way of life while helping us fundraise to bring our daughter, Jiao, home from China
How: volunteer to take a bag and fill it with 25 pairs of gently used or new shoes, offer to be a drop off site if you own a local business, ask your neighbors to help you fill up a bag

Funds2Orgs is a for-profit organization that re-purposes the shoes that we will be collecting.  They are essentially paying us for the shoes that we collect.  All donated shoes will then be redistributed throughout the Funds2Orgs network of microenterprise partners in developing nations.  Funds2Orgs helps impoverished people start, maintain, and grow businesses in countries such as Haiti, Honduras, and other nations in Central America and Africa.  Proceeds from the shoe sales are used to feed, clothe, and house their families.

The shoes that we are collecting can be any type, any size, and for any age!  We are looking for gently used or new shoes.  Shoes cannot have any visible sizes of damage (soles that are melted, worn through, or falling off; broken heels; or are wet or moldy).  They do not accept roller blades, ski boots, or ice skates.

Just Love Coffee-
Sam and I have partnered up with Just Love Coffee Roasters in order to help raise money for part of the travel expenses for our trip to China.  Sam, Wes, and I will be traveling to meet our daughter.  We don't have an exact travel date yet, but it's never too early to start raising and saving money when travel expenses could be upwards of $10,000.  We hope that you'll partner with us as well!  Please check out our Fundraising page for the below links as well.

Fall Yard Sale-  UPDATE!!!!!!
Thank you to everyone that came out to shop and to those that donated items!  With your support, we were able to raise around $900!!!!!!  All of the left over items were donated to Purple Heart, sold on an online yard sale site, or passed on to family/friends!
Saturday, September 10th 7am-2pm
Location: 222 Maple Ave, Harleysville
Come on out and check out our "junk"!  It may just be your treasure!
Snacks and drinks will also be for sale!
We will have multiple families donating items.  Please let us know if you have anything you'd like to donate to our yard sale!

Dining Night Out and Raffle- UPDATE!!!-

Thank you so much to everyone that came out and ate dinner with us at Tosco's!!!  It was a FUN and FILLING night!  We hope that all who won a raffle are enjoying them!  Between the dinner, raffle, and 50/50 drawing, we were able to raise about $1700!  Yay!!!

Yard Sale--  We will be having a yard sale on June 19th-20th, 2015.  All proceeds will go towards adoption #2.  Please join us and buy our "treasures"!  :)    UPDATE- We made over $400 from our yard sale!!  Thank you to our family members that donated their "treasures" and helped us out!

Vendor Fair- Thank you to everyone that came out on the 14th and supported our fundraising efforts!  Together, we raised about $3,000 for our adoption!

I am a Consultant with Premier Designs Jewelry and have helped various organizations raise upwards of $900 in just one night by helping them host a fun fashion fundraiser. In addition to the cash donation, you would also receive lots of free jewelry that can be used for future fundraising efforts.
